Uniquely available in Preseem, Link Rate metrics are critical KPIs that enable ISPs to benchmark the performance of their Tarana RNs. Link Rates approximate the data rate that could be received at any one time by the CPE radio. A Tx/Rx Link Rate measurement that is BELOW the customer's advertised plan speed could indicate a problem. It helps to improve operations, and enables your support teams troubleshoot the root cause of slow internet calls, faster.

Preseem's Proactive Platform brings commonality to access network and subscriber metrics across vendors, systems, and manufacturers. Our new charts and metrics for Tarana Base Nodes (BNs) introduces enhanced visibility and metrics for customers, giving you more insight and control over your network's performance. New metrics in this release: 

• RF Airtime Utilization: This metric helps to simplify the task of identifying subscribers and BNs experiencing RF issues by approximating the current airtime utilization of the aggregated RF as reported by the Tarana BN.
  
• GPS: This graph is used to identify situations of potential clock synchronization loss that can cause interference between radios that degrades network performance and the customer experience. The chart displays the number of satellites currently being tracked, and their status.
• Port Utilization: This chart is used to identify potential misconfigurations or equipment failures by displaying inbound and outbound traffic across various ports on a Tarana BN, as reported directly from the Access Point. 
• Diagnostics: New CPU and Memory Utilization charts allow you to monitor resource usage effectively.

• Adtran SDX 6000 Series OLT Support: Preseem now supports Adtran’s SDX 6000 series OLTs, enabling proactive monitoring, and faster support resolution across your fiber network.

With so many vendors and systems deployed across your network, getting the insight you need to identify and troubleshoot issues proactively can be a huge challenge. That's why we're excited to tell you all about our latest release: New Fiber Network Insights. These new features work using the Preseem Platform to poll the Fiber network and collect PON, ONT, and OLT data; consolidating the metrics and presented in ways that make it easy for teams to know what to prioritize next.

New metrics included in this release are:

• Active PON Ports: The number of active PON ports on this OLT.
• Active PONs: The number of active physical PON channels on this OLT.
• Active ONTs: The number of active ONTs connected to all PON transceivers on this OLT.
• Loaded Tx/Rx: Understand and compare the throughput of your OLTs during the times of the day with the highest demand.
• Loaded Tx/Rx %: Displays how much of the maximum downstream/upstream capacity of a PON is being used during times of peak load.
• Min OLT Rx Power: Shows the 5th percentile lowest receive power level at the OLT, measured across all ONTs on this OLT for each day to help find PONs with relatively higher attenuation.
• Min ONT Rx Power: Shows the 5th percentile lowest receive power level at the ONT, measured across all ONTs on this OLT for each day to help find PONs with relatively higher attenuation.
• Rx Power Warnings: Displays the number of ONTs that have a warning or error level for the received power level, to more easily identify PONs with significant attenuation issues.
• Loaded Latency:  Unique to Preseem, this metric helps you understand and compare the latency experienced by subscribers on each of your OLTs during the times of the day with the highest demand.

We’re excited to announce the addition of new Accounts, Services, and Packages views to Preseem. Read the help guide or watch the video below for all the details.

These views can be accessed under the Customer menu item on the left of the screen. With these, you can:

• View, search, sort, and filter all Accounts, Services, and Packages
• View data usage (throughput and tonnage) for each Account and Service as collected both from the network elements and the Preseem inline element
• Easily compare throughput to the Service’s set rate
• Access new details and metrics for each Account, Service, and Package
• Jump from an Access Point or CPE Radio to all Services downstream that it serves
