🚨 New Feature Release: Disconnected Topology 🚨

We’re happy to announce the release of a new feature in Preseem called Disconnected Topology. Your customer support team can now see where disconnected subscribers were recently connected in the network, reducing guesswork or system-hopping during outage calls.

🤔 Problem: When a customer reports connectivity issues, every second counts. Support representatives need immediate answers about which equipment serves that customer, but what happens when the connection is already down?

💡 Solution: Our new Disconnected Topology view solves this challenge by automatically displaying the subscriber's recent network path, even when they're offline.

This feature works for:

  • Services disconnected from ONTs and CPE Radios
  • ONTs disconnected from the OLT (and PON)
  • CPE Radios disconnected from the Access Point

With this enhancement, the topology viewer shows past connections and indicates disconnection with a new icon between the elements or service.

Benefits of this new feature include:

  • Immediate equipment identification without documentation lookups
  • Quick isolation of single-customer vs. multi-customer issues
  • Faster, more accurate problem escalation
  • Reduced average call-handling time

The Disconnected Topology feature is available now for all Preseem customers, with no configuration needed.
