New Routers Feature Available in Preseem

Preseem now shows network routers in the Network/Routers view. These are routers at network sites that are polled by Preseem for mapping IP addresses to services and network topology, which is required in some Preseem deployments.

This centralized view gives you an at-a-glance overview of all routers in your network that Preseem is polling, with metrics for each. You can see the health and status of each Router across all Sites, and by drilling into a router, you can see charts of its port metrics over time.

The Status card at the top of the screen can be used to quickly filter the results, and column headers can be used to sort and filter the list of routers. You can use this to make sure Preseem is functioning properly. For example:

  • Make sure all routers you expect Preseem to be polling are on this list. If a router is missing, it may not be provisioned in Preseem or it may not have SNMP enabled.
  • Look for any routers in an Offline state. Preseem is no longer able to poll these routers.
  • Look for any routers in an Error state. Preseem is having issues polling these, and you can drill into the Router Details to see the details of the error.

Please try it out and let us know if you have any questions.
