Preseem will be changing support requirements for Mikrotik APs on Monday, April 8, 2024. We’ll be requiring read-only API access from the Preseem poller. This is necessary to provide accurate Essentials link rates, airtime consumption, and Auto AP Capacity (in some configurations), and AP Subscriber Capacity for Plus.

No action is required if you don’t have any Mikrotik APs.

If you do have Mikrotik APs, check your email for more detailed instructions on what is required on your end. In brief, follow the Element Credentials guide, and secondly, configure Mikrotik APs for API access. Don’t forget to notify Preseem support when done.
